Stem: erect, glabrous or pubescent. Leaves: Long petiolated, pinnati or palmiti or palmiti- partite, segments linear increased. Flower: Whorls, numerous, small, axillary, red in colour. Fruit: a nut.

Distribution
Leonurus sibiricus is native to western Siberia (Mongolia, northwest China). This species is present in Europe, North, Central and South America and the Caribbean, in the Indian Ocean in Mauritius and Reunion, in Indonesia and in some Pacific islands
Medicinal properties
Leonurus sibiricus plants are used for the treatment of different ailments including menstrual irregularities and heart disorders (Islam and Kato-Noguchi 2014).
